    Our walk with the Lord is a spiritual journey. Every one of us will encounter good times as well as bad times. Every one of us has a story to be told that will also set others free. As Christians, the way that we respond to difficult situations determines our destiny. Joseph experienced constant betrayal. His brothers threw him in a pit and then sold him as a slave. He was then thrown in a prison wrongfully, but through it all he never sinned and never lost his focus because he had a dream and was determined to see it fulfilled. Psalms 105:19 says concerning Joseph, the time that his word came to pass, the word of the Lord tested him. Pharaoh gave Joseph his signet ring as well as authority over all of Egypt because the Lord gave Joseph favor for his obedience.     This morning I was listening to the song “This is how I fight my battles”. I thought about the scripture in Ephesians chapter six concerning the armor of God. The Holy Spirit then showed me how some people are fighting the wrong battles. They are having confrontations with others because they don’t know who their enemy is. They are under pressure but they don’t recognize that they are retaliating and wrestling in the flesh. The bible tells us that we are not fighting against flesh and blood but against rulers of darkness and spiritual wickedness in high places. Then the Lord showed me those who have battles in their minds but they don’t know how to deal with them. Some people are overcome with fear, anger, worry, confusion, depression and discouragement.   We are living in a season of shifting, shaking and experiencing many changes worldwide as well as in our personal lives and ministries. To some people it appears as if the darkness is dominating this world, but then there are those believers who recognize that small cloud the size of a man’s hand rising out of the sea. They know that the days ahead will be glorious times of demonstration of the power of the Holy Spirit just as they had experienced in the book of Acts.   The Lord wants to use every one of us in extraordinary ways not in word only, but in manifestation of His power with healing, miracles, signs and wonders.   September 1, 2018 The Holy Spirit showed me a house being renovated. The word renovate means to rebuild, revamp, redevelop, repair, renew or restore to a better state. In this house the walls were being torn down and rebuilt, a new staircase was installed, a new roof was built, fresh paint was applied to the walls and it was completely refurnished.  Many of you are in the process of renovation. There are things in your life that seem to be out of place and it may be an uncomfortable season but Jesus is getting you ready for what He has destined for you. He is removing some things that need total demolition and He is strengthening areas that need to be reinforced. He is mending and repairing areas in your life that needs to be restored. All of this is all in preparation to redesign you with a new wine skin to be able to contain the new wine. Some of you are being groomed for a ministry. The Holy Spirit showed me something fascinating today. I saw houses with no lights on. The houses were still intact but the electricity was out. There are Christians who are saved but not filled with the Holy Spirit. Jesus wants to fill and empower every believer on the face of the earth. In the book of Acts chapter 19 Paul was traveling to Ephesus. He found some disciples and asked them “Did you receive the Holy Spirit since you became a believer?” They were already disciples of Jesus but had not yet received the Holy Spirit. They replied that they have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit. Then he asked them “Then what were you baptized into? They didn’t understand what he meant so they replied “Into John’s baptism”. Then Paul explained to them that Johns baptism was for repentance and to teach people how to follow Jesus.
