FLAMING TARGETS

 
 One night as I was at a church conference the Lord brought my attention to the worshipers. Many of them were dancing with abandon, rejoicing exuberantly and others were worshiping passionately with multicolored flags. They were all continuously moving as they glorified Jesus under an extraordinary anointing.  As I observed them, The Lord showed me a picture of a shooting gallery with moving targets. The faster the targets moved, the more challenging it was for the shooter to hit them. The Holy Spirit said, "A moving target is more difficult to aim at than a sitting duck".  A sitting duck is something that is unprotected and vulnerable to easy attacks. As long as you keep on moving with God, you may get hit but the enemy can not take you out. Then I saw the targets aflame.

The Lord says; I am causing you to become flaming targets that are ablaze with My glory. As you continue to persevere and press in through difficult times, you will soon recognize the strategies of the enemy.  Allow the difficult situations to catapult you ahead, rather than letting discouragement overtake you, and as you do you will become flaming targets quenching the firey darts of the enemy. You will have the wisdom from heaven to overcome every assignment that is sent against you. Don't allow anything to pull you back and don't procrastinate any longer.  Be strengthened by My word dwelling in you richly and the light of My word searching your innermost being. You will not go out in your own strength, but you will go in the anointing and authority that the I have placed on your life. Be willing to burn your bridges behind you and forget the mistakes of your past.

Run with the truth so that the adverse situation's that arise will bring endurance rather than lethargy. I will teach your hands to war and your fingers for battle.  I will train you how to adjust in difficult situations and show you how to use the stumbling blocks as stepping stones.  I will show you how to use every trial to take you to a higher level.  As you continue to move with Me, I will release you into a greater glory.  Allow Me to rekindle the fire in your life once again.  Don't allow the enemy to gain ground, and don't become a sitting duck to be hit.  As you continue to run with the vision, the enemy will not have a foothold.  Don't do anything foolishly that will make you an easy target for the betrayer.  Those who know My word are not vulnerable to the adversary because they know who they are in Me.  I am calling you back to gain the spiritual momentum that you once had, and I will meet you as you draw close to Me, I will draw close to you, says the Lord.

If you have run with the footmen, and they have wearied you, then how can you contend with horses? And if in the land of peace, in which you trusted, they wearied you, then how will you do in the floodplain of the Jordan?

And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart"

"HE MAKES HIS MINISTERS FLAMES OF FIRE"

June 10, 2016 "HE MAKES HIS MINISTERS FLAMES OF FIRE" The Holy Spirit showed me a campfire that had died out but underneath, the embers were still red hot.  The embers radiated heat long after the fire was out and could easily ignite again if they were stoked, poked or if the wind blew upon them.  The embers were smoldering which means that they were still burning, yet without a flame. The Lord gave me this analogy from Leviticus 9:23-24 of how God supernaturally sent fire on the altar for the burnt offerings.  Although the fire was kindled by God Himself, the priests had to continually keep it from ever dying out.  This required a regular removal of the ashes and anything which would prevent the fire from burning. Jesus is rekindling the fires that have gone out of His people so that we will become a flame of fire for His glory. “The Desert Places and The Resting Places Encounter – January 16, 2019”

                          As I lay down to rest, the Lord came and invited me to follow him. In the vision, I get up and follow him and find myself walking in a vast hot desert. All around us are sand dunes as far as I could see. The wind was hot and was blowing sand on us as we went. My feet were struggling to keep up with the Lord as He purposefully trudged forwards to His destination. I pressed harder in the soft sand and said, “Lord, where are we going?” The Lord just kept walking. After awhile, the Lord slowed down and I saw that we came to a place where there was an old well in a cleft among the dunes. It was ancient, well used, and it had old dry clay built up all around the sides.
