TRUE LIFE STORY

This is a true story of my friend a 10 year old girl called Abla, who used to live in an area with idol worship being one of the major activities practiced by the inhabitants.

I remember the day a group of evangelists visited some schools in my area and it happened that my school had been chosen to be the center for Bible studies. So my friend Abla had to visit my school every evening for Bible studies.

Our lives begun to totally change when we learnt about the 10 commandments and other Bible scriptures. We learnt so much during this time and were glad to be a part of it. After this wonderful encounter with God our spirits felt troubled anytime we were among idol worshipers. This was not very easy since we lived in a community of idol worshipers and our entire family practiced this kind of worship too.

One day my friend Abla was seriously sick and was taken to the hospital. Unfortunately, the doctors said there was no cure. I never understood why the hospital was her family's first option rather than the place of idol worship perhaps it was God at work. When Abla realized the next option was to take her to the idol, she told her parents not to send her there since she had accepted Jesus as her Lord and Saviour. Abla believed in the saving power of God and had faith because she heard the word of God.

The Bible says “…So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God...” (Romans 10:17. Even though her family kept insisting she stood her grounds until Abla's father instructed that no one force her. Unfortunately, Abla died and her parents informed the church about her passing.

 Abla held on to Jesus to the very last moment. During the funeral, the head of the family along with the entire family (the fetish perish of the family) said because of the faith of Abla, they had given up on their idol worship.Even though a funeral is sad because someone has passed away, the death of this girl brought salvation to her entire family. Like the Holy Bible says; “…For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous…” (Romans 5:19)May The God Lord give you grace to resist the devil.

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7) She submitted herself to God, held on to Him till the end and her entire family was saved. Dear Lord Jesus, I am a sinner and I repent of all my sins. Please wash my sins with Your Precious
Blood Lord Jesus. Today, I turn away from all sins and receive You into my heart as My Lord and Saviour. Please write my name in the Lamb's Book of life and send the Holy Spirit to help me live in holiness. Establish Your Word in my heart and protect my heart. I am born again. Amen. God greatly bless you.

"HE MAKES HIS MINISTERS FLAMES OF FIRE"

June 10, 2016 "HE MAKES HIS MINISTERS FLAMES OF FIRE" The Holy Spirit showed me a campfire that had died out but underneath, the embers were still red hot.  The embers radiated heat long after the fire was out and could easily ignite again if they were stoked, poked or if the wind blew upon them.  The embers were smoldering which means that they were still burning, yet without a flame. The Lord gave me this analogy from Leviticus 9:23-24 of how God supernaturally sent fire on the altar for the burnt offerings.  Although the fire was kindled by God Himself, the priests had to continually keep it from ever dying out.  This required a regular removal of the ashes and anything which would prevent the fire from burning. “The Desert Places and The Resting Places Encounter – January 16, 2019”

                          As I lay down to rest, the Lord came and invited me to follow him. In the vision, I get up and follow him and find myself walking in a vast hot desert. All around us are sand dunes as far as I could see. The wind was hot and was blowing sand on us as we went. My feet were struggling to keep up with the Lord as He purposefully trudged forwards to His destination. I pressed harder in the soft sand and said, “Lord, where are we going?” The Lord just kept walking. After awhile, the Lord slowed down and I saw that we came to a place where there was an old well in a cleft among the dunes. It was ancient, well used, and it had old dry clay built up all around the sides.
