RAPID RIVER 2020

Eagle Reflection 2







As the New Year approaches and we look back over our previous years, we should see a substantial growth in our spiritual lives and our walk with the Lord. We should notice a change in our conduct, in our words, in our prayers and in our revelation. I am not talking about religious rules or regulations but I’m talking about our personal relationship with Jesus and setting ourselves apart for encounters with the God of Creation.

As I began writing this, the Holy Spirit brought me in a totally different direction than what I was planning on writing. He brought me back to a time in the 1990’s when I was at the Delaware water gap with a friend in a small row boat. I remember seeing an eagle for the first time as we glided along the water. I remember the fish in the shallow parts of the stream. Within one hour of rowing, the water went from being calm to turbulent and rapid.

Rapids are sections of a river where the river bed has a steep gradient which causes an increase in water velocity and turbulence. Rapids are hydrological features between a smooth flowing part of the stream and a cascade or waterfall. 

The Lord has been showing me that we are about to experience rapid growth and velocity in the Spirit. This is the reason why many of us have been experiencing so much turbulence in the spirit realm. Spiritual conflicts usually occur when we are advancing into new territory. We are coming in to a new surge of His glory with rapid growth and velocity.

The Lord says; My glory will come as a rapid river. You will experience supernatural occurrences at an accelerated speed in the months ahead and it will gradually pick up momentum. There will be many streams flowing into this river causing the waters to be rapid. Everywhere that this river flows will bring healing. Everywhere that this river flows will bring life. Everywhere that the river flows will bring provision.

Do not fear the high tides or the turbulent waters in this time of great acceleration. The rip tides will strain out all the debris and the profane. The media may be saying “batten down the hatches”, but I say; get ready for a glorious ride. I am about to drain the swamp of religious traditions. You will find that the glory of this latter house will be greater than the former house and in this place I will bring peace; says the Lord.
 
 
Isaiah 55:1
“Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; and you who have no money,
Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

Ezekiel 47:9
And it shall be that every living thing that moves, wherever [c]the rivers go, will live. There will be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters go there; for they will be healed, and everything will live wherever the river goes.

Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, flowing with water clear as crystal, continuously pouring out from the throne of God and of the Lamb.

"HE MAKES HIS MINISTERS FLAMES OF FIRE"

June 10, 2016 "HE MAKES HIS MINISTERS FLAMES OF FIRE" The Holy Spirit showed me a campfire that had died out but underneath, the embers were still red hot.  The embers radiated heat long after the fire was out and could easily ignite again if they were stoked, poked or if the wind blew upon them.  The embers were smoldering which means that they were still burning, yet without a flame. The Lord gave me this analogy from Leviticus 9:23-24 of how God supernaturally sent fire on the altar for the burnt offerings.  Although the fire was kindled by God Himself, the priests had to continually keep it from ever dying out.  This required a regular removal of the ashes and anything which would prevent the fire from burning. Jesus is rekindling the fires that have gone out of His people so that we will become a flame of fire for His glory. “The Desert Places and The Resting Places Encounter – January 16, 2019”

                          As I lay down to rest, the Lord came and invited me to follow him. In the vision, I get up and follow him and find myself walking in a vast hot desert. All around us are sand dunes as far as I could see. The wind was hot and was blowing sand on us as we went. My feet were struggling to keep up with the Lord as He purposefully trudged forwards to His destination. I pressed harder in the soft sand and said, “Lord, where are we going?” The Lord just kept walking. After awhile, the Lord slowed down and I saw that we came to a place where there was an old well in a cleft among the dunes. It was ancient, well used, and it had old dry clay built up all around the sides.
