BORN TO BE MOVERS & SHAKERS
There has been a lot of dissension and division in the body of
Christ the past few months over who’s right and who’s wrong concerning a
particular prophetic word that was released.
Now more than ever,
Christians need to stand together and pray together no matter what our
political or personal preferences are.
The enemy had a plan to bring
division and he has been succeeding by turning believers against one
another. Jesus said that a kingdom divided against itself will not
stand. The body of Christ is called to
be “movers and shakers.” The definition of movers and shakers is a
powerful person who initiates events and influences people. Jesus
gave us the authority to go into all the world and preach the gospel.
He has given us all authority over all the power of the enemy but we are
fighting the wrong battle. I believe that some of you are going to get set free reading this word today.
Yesterday I was watching a video from 1990 when Benny Hinn visited
our church Faith Fellowship Ministries in New Jersey (Pastor David T.
Demola) We were having a great revival at the time. I saw myself and all
my friends in this video and I remembered how we had such unity because
we were taught the Word of God well. That's the key. My
friends and I never spoke negative against anyone else whether they
were a Christian or an unbeliever. The anointing was so tangible just
watching it and I thought to myself, this is a video from 30 years ago
and I feel such a strong presence of God. Imagine
what we would have now if believers would stop their bickering and get
back in the flow of the Holy Spirit? That river is not receding, but it
is getting deeper.
I watched as people were laughing, crying, many were drunk in the
Holy Spirit, some received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and many were
delivered. A demon manifested through one lady who began shaking and
screaming until Benny cast it out. He waved his hand and people fell all
over the room. Some of you remember
what it was like back in the day and you long for His presence once
again. You need that anointing to lift that heaviness and oppression off
of yourself. The problem is that many believers stepped off
their post, walked out of faith and some fell asleep.
Some are shaken by
everything that is happening around them. Have
we forgotten what we were called to do? Have we become so discouraged
and despondent that we are allowing the enemy to invade our personal
space?
The Lord is looking for those warriors who won’t fold under
pressure. He is looking for those who were once sold out to Him to usher
in a revival. He has a unique calling for each one of us and He wants to use all of us for this end time harvest. When
John the Baptist began his ministry he didn’t doubt his calling. He
didn’t try to imitate Elijah, Isaiah or Daniel but he knew who he was,
and what he was called to do. He knew that he couldn’t walk in Jesus
shoes and he even said, there is one coming after me that I am not even
worthy to carry His shoes.
He knew that
he was called to baptize people in water but he also knew that Jesus
would come and baptize people with the Holy Spirit and Fire. Later on in His ministry
Jesus said concerning John: There has never been a man who surpasses
John the Baptist. Yet the least in the Kingdom of heaven is greater than
he. I looked up the words “Kingdom of Heaven” in Strong’s concordance. It is translated from Greek
(basileia ouranos) “Of the royal power of Jesus as triumphant Messiah”
and “The royal power and dignity conferred on Christians in the
Messiah's kingdom over the universe, the aerial, heavens and sky”
My friend, if we all received this revelation of what Jesus is
saying we would stop all the nonsense and change this universe. Then he
went on to say: The Kingdom suffers violence and the violent take it by
force. The prophets prophesied until John was born. John was the Elijah who was to come but notice that Jesus said that the least of us is greater than John. He who has ears let him hear. God has a plan. He wants to use each one of us to usher in the greatest harvest of all time.
He wants to pour out His Spirit on all flesh. The devil has a plan to steal, kill and destroy and silence the voice of God.
The Holy Spirit is looking for vessels to work through. Jesus has given
us that assignment. Just as John the Baptist was called to prepare the
way of the Lord, Jesus is also calling us to be Movers and Shakers and give a spiritual makeover to our nation in this time of gross darkness.
May the Lord remove every obstacle
that the enemy has planted, and every stumbling block that is hindering
the Kingdom of God from advancing. Jesus is going to use the foolish
things to confound the wise..
Isaiah 60:2
Arise, shine; For your light has come! and the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. For
behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the
people; But the LORD will arise over you, and His glory will be seen
upon you. The Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.
Matthew 11:11-15
“Assuredly, I say to you, among
those born of women there has not risen one greater than John the
Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than
he. And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of
heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. For all the
prophets and the law prophesied until John. And if you are willing to
receive it, he is Elijah who is to come. He who has ears to hear, let
him hear!
PRAISE THE LORD.
