GREATER WORKS SHALL YOU DO

The book of John has some of the most extraordinary words that Jesus has ever spoke. In John chapter fourteen, Jesus was comforting His disciples before His departure to the father. He told them that He would not leave them alone, but He would send the Holy Spirit to be with them. They didn't comprehend what He was saying, because they did not yet understand His resurrection. They asked Him to show them the way to the father and Jesus replied "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." They still didn't understand and He continued explaining to them how He and the father are one, and said that the words that He spoke were words from the father speaking through Him.

Then He said the most profound words ever spoken in history. He said to them: "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father". Then He said that He would do whatever they asked in His name. This promise is also for every one of us today as believers. Jesus came to earth as God in the flesh. It was prophesied beforehand that they shall call His name Immanuel which means "God is with us". (Isaiah 7:14 and Matthew 1:23)

The Lord says, I am about to release the "greater works" in the earth today. I will visit My people in ways that will astound them. I am about to release My glory into your lives, and manifest Myself among you in ways that you have not expected. The level of My anointing will increase immensely in the lives of believers, and many will come into the kingdom in the days ahead. It is time to be delivered from all spiritual lethargy and prepare your hearts for this spiritual awakening. Prepare yourself for the greater works that I am about to release.

Pay attention to your dreams and unusual occurrences. Those who are listening will recognize My voice throughout the daytime as well as during the night. I will speak in visions and dreams, and those who are discerning will perceive the leading of My Spirit. I speak in parables which may seem bizarre to some, but the spiritually mature will search out the scripture for the interpretation. Allow Me to walk with you and talk with you throughout your day. Don't be moved by what you see and what you hear in the natural. Don't fear the supernatural realm because the powers of darkness, and the threats of the enemy are nothing to be compared to this latter day outpouring.

As you press in for miracles, signs and wonders, revelation will be available to you as it was to the men and women of ancient days. In the days ahead you will no longer question Me or doubt My power because you will experience the greater works says the Lord.

Matthew 21:21

So Jesus answered and said to them, "Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' it will be done. And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive.

Mark 4:34

But without a parable He did not speak to them. And when they were alone, He explained all things to His disciples.

John 14:12-14

"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

Acts 19:11-12

Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them.
