LIFE TRANSFORMING ENCOUNTERS
Every
one of us should be able to recall a time when we experienced a life
transforming encounter with Jesus. We could never forget the peace and
the overwhelming tangible presence of His glory. We are now living in a
time when the Holy Spirit wants to give us encounters like never before.
He wants to visit us and speak to us. He is about to give us dreams and
visions that can’t be discerned with our mortal minds. In the natural
everything that can be shaken is being shaken but for the believer the
Lord wants to shake our lives with His glory. But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
That word “Eye” is not pertaining to our physical eyes. The original word in the Greek is ophthalmos which is a metaphor of the eyes of the mind and the faculty of knowing. The word “Seen” is eidō which is to perceive, notice, discern, discover, observe, inspect, examine or behold. The word “Ears” is ous. It is also a metaphor of the faculty of perceiving, understanding and knowing. The word “Heard” is akouō which
means to be endowed with the faculty of hearing, to understand,
perceive the sense of what is said, to comprehend, Then the name “God” in this scripture is theos which
is a general name of the deities or divinities of the Godhead. It is
speaking of the full trinity. The father, Jesus and The Holy Spirit all
as one.
I
am going to share a dream that I had several years ago. In this dream I
began walking down a long corridor. There were doors on each side of
the hallway. I opened one door to the room on my right and it was a
hospital room. I then continued walking and opened a door on my left
that appeared to be a guest room. As I continued walking I heard singing
that sounded like a choir but I knew that it was angels. At this point I
knew that I was dreaming and I thought to myself “If I listen, I will
be able to hear the angels singing”. I walked to the next door and sat
down on the floor listening to the angelic voices singing “Worthy is the
Lamb”. The presence of God was so intense. I looked up and saw Jesus.
There
was a line of people waiting to go up to him to give him a hug and a
kiss. I watched as each one had their turn. After the last person walked
away, Jesus began to walk in my direction. I jumped up and said to him
"Wait a minute, you have to give me a hug and a kiss". As he hugged me,
and then gave me a kiss, his anointing flowed into my body. I wouldn’t
let him go and I kept saying: Oh my God, I don’t believe it. He just
laughed as the fire of his presence radiated through me. As I woke up
from that dream, that same anointing was upon me.
Within
the next few weeks every time I shared that dream, that same anointing
was present. I then heard several confirmations of the Shulamite woman
in Song of Solomon chapter three. She was in great distress as she
searched for her love and couldn’t find him. She got up from her bed,
and went out into the streets looking for him. She went up to the
watchman asking “Have you seen the one that my heart loves?” When she
found her love, she held him and would not let him go.
The
Holy Spirit is confirming this dream once again. Many of you are going
to have visitations from Jesus in the next few months as you search for
him with all your heart. The Lord is going to speak to you in dreams as
well as face to face encounters. Many unbelievers will also come to know
Jesus through personal encounters. Be encouraged and stay in
expectation.
Song of Solomon 3:1-4
By
night on my bed I sought the one I love; I sought him, but I did not
find him. “I will rise now,” I said, “And go about the city; in the
streets and in the squares I will seek the one I love.” I sought him,
but I did not find him. The watchmen who go about the city found me; I
said, “Have you seen the one I love?” Scarcely had I passed by them,
when I found the one I love. I held him and would not let him go, until I
had brought him to the house of my mother, and into the chamber of her
who conceived me.
1 Corinthians 2:9
But as it is written:“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
1 Corinthians 2:14
But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
Praise The Lord.
