Herein Is The Patience Of The Saints - 12-28-14

I asked the Lord what He wanted to say to us for the years ahead of us in the harvest fields. The Lord spoke to me in the middle of the night, "Herein is the patience of the saints." So I got up and looked it up.....and the rest is the journey...

“Herein is the Patience of the Saints.”



The Lord spoke to me in the middle of the night, and He said, “Herein is the Patience of the Saints.” So I got up to go to my computer and looked up those words that the Lord spoke...



Herein is the Patience of the Saints:



Revelations 13:9 If anyone is able to hear, let him listen: 10 Whoever leads into captivity will himself go into captivity; if anyone slays with the sword, with the sword must he be slain. Herein is [the call for] the patience and the faith and fidelity of the saints (God’s people).



EXB: 10 If you are to be ·a prisoner [taken into captivity], then you will ·be a prisoner [go into captivity]. If you are to be killed with the sword, then you will be killed with the sword [Jer. 15:2; 43:11]. This means that ·God’s holy people [the saints] must have ·patience [perseverance; endurance] and faith.



Revelations 14:12 Here [comes in a call for] the steadfastness of the saints [the patience, the endurance of the people of God], those who [habitually] keep God’s commandments and [their] faith in Jesus. 13 Then I heard further [perceiving the distinct words of] a voice from heaven, saying, Write this: Blessed (happy, to be envied) are the dead from now on who die in the Lord! Yes, blessed (happy, to be envied indeed), says the Spirit, [in] that they may rest from their labors, for their works (deeds) do follow (attend, accompany) them!



Herein:    


1. in or into this place.            

2. in this fact, circumstance, etc.; in view of this.



The Two Simultaneous End-Time Harvests have begun:



#1:  

Revelations14:14 Again I looked, and behold, [I saw] a white cloud, and sitting on the cloud One resembling a Son of Man, with a crown of gold on His head and a sharp scythe (sickle) in His hand. 15 And another angel came out of the temple sanctuary, calling with a mighty voice to Him Who was sitting upon the cloud, Put in Your scythe and reap, for the hour has arrived to gather the harvest, for the earth’s crop is fully ripened. 16 So He Who was sitting upon the cloud swung His scythe (sickle) on the earth, and the earth’s crop was harvested.



#2:  

Revelations 14:17 Then another angel came out of the temple [sanctuary] in heaven, and he also carried a sharp scythe (sickle). 18 And another angel came forth from the altar, [the angel] who has authority and power over fire, and he called with a loud cry to him who had the sharp scythe (sickle), Put forth your scythe and reap the fruitage of the vine of the earth, for its grapes are entirely ripe. 19 So the angel swung his scythe on the earth and stripped the grapes and gathered the vintage from the vines of the earth and cast it into the huge winepress of God’s indignation and wrath.



When I opened my bible program, the opening verse of the day was:



Matthew 11:28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden andoverburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.]



The Rest of God: Our Strength and our Position.



Hebrews 6:12 In order that you may not grow disinterested and become [spiritual] sluggards, but imitators, behaving as do those who through faith (by their leaning of the entire personality on God in Christ in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness) and by practice of patient endurance and waiting are [now] inheriting the promises.  AMP



James 1:3 Be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faithbring out endurance and steadfastness and patience.



VOICE:  2-4 Don’t run from tests and hardships, brothers and sisters. As difficult as they are, you will ultimately find joy in them; if you embrace them, your faith will blossom under pressure and teach you true patience as you endure. And true patience brought on by endurance will equip you to complete the long journey and cross the finish line—mature, complete, and wanting nothing.



2 Thessalonians 1:4 And this is a cause of our mentioning you with pride among the churches (assemblies) of God for your steadfastness (your unflinching endurance and patience) and your firm faith in the midst of all the persecutions and crushing distresses and afflictions under which you are holding up.  AMP



Colossians 1:12 And you will joyfully give thanks [or …have patience with joy, giving thanks] to the Father who has made you able to have a share in ·all that he has prepared for his people in the kingdom of light [the inheritance of thesaints/holy ones in the light].  EXB



Ø  VOICE: 12 Thank You, Father, as You have made us eligible to receive our portion of the inheritance given to all those set apart by the light.



Ø  TM: 9-12 Be assured that from the first day we heard of you, we haven’t stopped praying for you, asking God to give you wise minds and spirits attuned to his will, and so acquire a thorough understanding of the ways in which God works. We pray that you’ll live well for the Master, making him proud of you as you work hard in his orchard. As you learn more and more how God works, you will learn how to doyour work. We pray that you’ll have the strength to stick it out over the long haul—not the grim strength of gritting your teeth but the glory-strength God gives. It is strength that endures the unendurable and spills over into joy, thanking the Father who makes us strong enough to take part in everything bright and beautiful that he has for us.



Ephesians 1:8 Which He lavished upon us in every kind of wisdom and understanding (practical insight and prudence), 9 Making known to us the mystery (secret) of His will (of His plan, of His purpose). [And it is this:] In accordance with His good pleasure (His merciful intention) which He had previously purposed and set forth in [Him, 10 [He planned] for the maturity of the times and the climax of the ages to unify all things and head them up andconsummate them in Christ, [both] things in heaven and things on the earth.11 In Him we also were made [God’s] heritage (portion) and we obtained an inheritance; for we had been foreordained (chosen and appointed beforehand) in accordance with His purpose, Who works out everything in agreement with the counsel and design of His [own] will,

The Church of Laodicea (2006 — the end of the age)

As we covered last week, Laodicea means, “judging by the people.”  The implication is that this is an age in which men’s opinions are exalted above God’s.  In our time, this is called “political correctness.”  This results in a people lukewarm to God, and there is nothing more offensive in a relationship than indifference. FAST FORWARD INTO THE FUTURE

The Lord showed me someone driving a car and constantly looking into their rear view mirror. It’s great to use the rear view mirror to glace back to see how far you’ve come, but if you stare too long you will not see what is right in front of you, or miss your turn. Rear view mirrors are used for clearance and blind spots when changing lanes, but if you continually look in the rear view mirror, you will eventually crash. Many of you are not advancing spiritually because you are constantly looking back and reliving your past. There are memories that you are having a difficult time letting go of. It is imperative that you release the memories, mistakes and misfortunes so that you could advance into what Jesus has for you.
