The year 2020 started off with a lot of chaos in our nation concerning the impeachment of President Trump. Not long after that we had the coronavirus pandemic which brought sickness, trauma and fear to many people. Stores, businesses and churches across our country had to be shut down because it was so contagious and lives were even lost. Most states in America have issued a “shelter-in-place” order and people were not allowed to leave their homes without masks. As if that weren’t enough, the past couple of weeks there have been riots and racial discord concerning a police officer killing of an innocent black man. This spiraled out of control into horrific racial division, riots and violence in the streets across our country. Businesses and properties were destroyed and looted, people were killed and the sound of protest was heard throughout the land.   We are living in a time in history when everything that can be shaken is being shaken. When Jesus died on the cross, the earth shook violently as the veil of the Holy of Holies was torn in two from top to bottom, rocks were split apart, and graves were opened. Many of the holy ones who had died were brought back to life. The book of Matthew says that they came out of their graves and were walking around in Jerusalem after Jesus resurrection. The Roman military officer and his soldiers were extremely terrified as they witnessed what was happening and felt the powerful earthquake. They said, “There is no doubt, this man was the Son of God!” After Jesus resurrection He appeared to many people over a period of forty days. Some of them were Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Jesus’ mother Mary, James, Peter, Jacob and the apostles. One time He appeared to 500 people.                           Since the beginning of time God always desired to have a personal relationship with His creation, both men and women. In the book of Genesis the Lord created the beautiful Garden of Eden and made every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the “tree of life” and the “tree of knowledge of good and evil” was also in the midst of the garden. The Lord gave Adam authority to name every animal. Adam and Eve walked with God and He spoke to them daily. Since the time the coronavirus pandemic began, people in every country around the world are required to wear face masks. How could something so horrendous effect the whole world in just a few weeks? Why didn’t the prophets know that this was going to happen? There are so many questions. There were literally hundreds of prophecies spoken and written saying that we were coming into the greatest move of God in history but instead our voices are being silenced and our identity is being hidden.  There are so many voices in the world right now that are vying for your attention. There are voices in the government, voices in the media, voices from the devil and the voices of believers. Everyone wants to be heard. People are in confusion because they don’t know which voices to believe or submit to.
