THE GATES OF HELL SHALL NOT PREVAIL



The year 2020 started off with a lot of chaos in our nation concerning the impeachment of President Trump. Not long after that we had the coronavirus pandemic which brought sickness, trauma and fear to many people. Stores, businesses and churches across our country had to be shut down because it was so contagious and lives were even lost. Most states in America have issued a “shelter-in-place” order and people were not allowed to leave their homes without masks.

As if that weren’t enough, the past couple of weeks there have been riots and racial discord concerning a police officer killing of an innocent black man. This spiraled out of control into horrific racial division, riots and violence in the streets across our country. Businesses and properties were destroyed and looted, people were killed and the sound of protest was heard throughout the land. The United States seemed to be divided and thrown into a state of anarchy. 

There is confusion among the Christian community as they are asking “Where is God in all of this”? Many bona fide prophets have been prophesying the past few months that God is about to move in a mighty way across our nation but instead we are witnessing devastation. Some people are blaming the church leadership and others are saying that believers didn’t do their job. Why didn’t anyone see this coming? Why aren’t the intercessors praying and taking authority over this?  

In October 2019 I shared an encouraging prophetic word for this year titled “The Roaring 20’s”. That word as well as many other prophetic words from other credible prophets will certainly come to pass. God has not deserted us. He is not the author of confusion but of peace. There has been a strategically planned attack from the kingdom of hell that caught us off guard. Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy which we are witnessing now, but Jesus is raising up a remnant and preparing them to take back the land. 

Yesterday the president deployed the National Guard in Washington DC and other states. They stood shoulder to shoulder in orderly array guarding the White House property and the Presidential administration. There were thousands of enraged rioters of different ethnic groups. As I watched my heart was broken for this nation, but then I realized that this was not a racial riot, but it was a war between the kingdom of Satan and the kingdom of God. We are not fighting against flesh and blood but against powers, principalities, rulers of darkness and wicked spirits in heavenly places. The enemy thinks he has the upper hand but the Lord is going to turn it around for His glory as He did every time with Israel.

Whether you are a supporter of our president or not, we have to stand up as the body of Christ for our country. Spiritual anarchy will not prevail because Christians are meant to be a force to be reckoned with. The Lord is training believers as ground troops on active service just as in a military operation. We need boots on the ground. Jesus is raising up a remnant and is training their hands for war and their fingers for battle. Just as we read throughout the bible about anointed men and women who encountered horrific trials right before their breakthrough, we will also pursue, overtake and recover all. 


Psalms 126:1-6  
When the Lord brought back the captivity of Zion, we were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing . Then they said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.” The Lord has done great things for us, and we are glad. Bring back our captivity, O Lord, as the streams in the South. Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of] the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

"HE MAKES HIS MINISTERS FLAMES OF FIRE"

June 10, 2016 "HE MAKES HIS MINISTERS FLAMES OF FIRE" The Holy Spirit showed me a campfire that had died out but underneath, the embers were still red hot.  The embers radiated heat long after the fire was out and could easily ignite again if they were stoked, poked or if the wind blew upon them.  The embers were smoldering which means that they were still burning, yet without a flame. The Lord gave me this analogy from Leviticus 9:23-24 of how God supernaturally sent fire on the altar for the burnt offerings.  Although the fire was kindled by God Himself, the priests had to continually keep it from ever dying out.  This required a regular removal of the ashes and anything which would prevent the fire from burning. Jesus is rekindling the fires that have gone out of His people so that we will become a flame of fire for His glory. “The Desert Places and The Resting Places Encounter – January 16, 2019”

                          As I lay down to rest, the Lord came and invited me to follow him. In the vision, I get up and follow him and find myself walking in a vast hot desert. All around us are sand dunes as far as I could see. The wind was hot and was blowing sand on us as we went. My feet were struggling to keep up with the Lord as He purposefully trudged forwards to His destination. I pressed harder in the soft sand and said, “Lord, where are we going?” The Lord just kept walking. After awhile, the Lord slowed down and I saw that we came to a place where there was an old well in a cleft among the dunes. It was ancient, well used, and it had old dry clay built up all around the sides.
