   WORD FOR 2015 THE SPIRIT OF ELIJAH The Holy Spirit gave me a word for the coming year of 2015 as it relates to the Spirit of Elijah. There is a story in the Old Testament about the prophet Elijah and his successor the prophet Elisha. Elisha's ministry first began as a servant to Elijah in the book of 1 Kings 19:19 as he completed his earthly occupation of plowing twelve yolk of oxen. Elijah approached Elisha and threw his mantle upon him. This is symbolic for those who are clothed with the prophetic mantle which is the spirit of Elijah, as well as an allegory of the father's mantle being passed to the son. The Bible is full of references to Altars in both the Old and New Testaments. There are over 400 references made to Altars in the Bible. The altars that we stand on determine how far we go in life. WHAT IS AN ALTAR? An altar may be defined as: * A body, a temple (of a person or animal); * A place of sacrifice, worship, consecration * A meeting point between human and spirit beings. * A place where covenants are cut and vows are made; * A gate into the spirit world to make way for angelic traffic  (A spiritual highway for angelic or demonic traffic. “The Heavenly Room of Possibilities - Vision experience - 11-28-14” During the worship time at church, I was lifted up in the experience to see a heavenly place where there were many rooms. On the door of one particular room was a name plate that read, ‘Possibility Room’. I wondered what this kind of room would be like. So I reached out and I opened the door and inside the room was a huge platform with a cloud hovering in the distance, and a very large opened book with open pages facing upwards on top of the cloud. A gentle wind was blowing in the room, so the pages of the book would turn with the breeze. There were some people in the room and they were all lined up, one at a time, to go up to the cloud and to the book that was there. The room was filled with sunlight, and I wondered what the people were doing. December 6, 2014 The Spiritual Famine Has Come to an End The Holy Spirit showed me something interesting this week to share with you. Famines are mentioned several times throughout the bible, especially in the Old Testament. During a famine, people will eat anything that is available to them. In 2 Kings 6:25 the people were so famished that they ate donkey heads and doves dung. In verse 29 they even boiled a child and ate it. In the book of Amos chapter 8:11-12, God pronounced a judgment on the land by saying that there was coming a famine in the land, not a famine of bread or a thirst for water but a famine of hearing the voice of the Lord.
