OPEN THEIR EYES LORD The Holy Spirit gave me this word from 2 Kings chapter 6. When the king of Syria was planning to attack Israel, Elisha sent a warning to him because as a true prophet and seer, the Lord revealed the plans of the enemy to him. The king of Syria didn't understand how Elisha could know all his schemes and strategies. He called his officers together and asked them if they were revealing his secrets to Elisha. One of the officers replied: No but Elisha, the prophet who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the very words that you speak in your bedroom. The king of Syria then wanted to capture Elisha so he sent horses and chariots and strong forces against him. They went by night and surrounded the city.
