 The Lord interrupted a movie I was watching at home, and began to speak the following prophecy. I had to grab a pen and begin to write. We are in a new day, and the old is finished and the new has indeed begun, but we must seek Him for the correct interpretation of the things that shall come. He knows what He is doing and what man is going to do. May these words encourage you, as you wait up Him for wisdom! I often heard Christians say that God has called them to have a worldwide ministry, or they are called to be a prophet or prophetess to the nations but when faced with a trial they withdraw rather than pressing through. This is not a rebuke or criticism but a word of encouragement. Trying times will come, but we have to learn how to be overcomers in difficult times. The Lord showed me a basket of mixed nuts in their shells. There were a large variety such as pecans, Brazil nuts, hazel nuts, pine nuts, almonds, pistachio nuts and others that were unfamiliar to me. Some of them were slightly peeled open, some had soft shells that were easy to crack, while others were in hard shells which were more difficult to break open. The Lord is showing me that He wants to release us out of the confinements that we are entrapped in, and anything that is holding us in bondage.     As I began writing this word for 2019 the Lord brought this scripture to me from First Corinthians 2:9. “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” We are coming into a year where we are going to experience many God surprises. The Lord is raising up believers who have tenacity and perseverance. They are overcomers who have survived through intense warfare. They are those who have experienced challenging trials but are coming back stronger to strengthen and ignite other believers. They are those who have been in the fiery furnace but came out unharmed. They are those who got thrown in the lion’s den but walked out victorious. In the book of Acts the Lord did extraordinary miracles through the hands of Paul. The lame were healed and the dead were raised. In Acts chapter fourteen Paul was stoned and left for dead. When the believers encircled his body, he miraculously stood up. He didn’t retreat in the warfare but he continued on ministering and encouraging other believers. He taught them how to be strong and persevere through difficult trials. There is a caravan with thousands of Central American migrants headed to America. They said that they want to obtain a better life for themselves and be free from poverty and crime. Most Americans are threatened by this mass migration and see it as an invasion. As I watched the news report the Lord showed me something interesting. I heard many people saying that we are living in such dark times and it seems as if legions of demons from hell have been loosed into the earth.
