I was writing my tithe & offering checks, and I noticed I was going to be very tight on money for the next two weeks, because of increases in recent expenses, like electricity to heat my house. The owner never fixed the gas log fireplace, so its use electricity or freeze. I had already dropped the thermostat lower than anything I had ever used, hoping to lower the upcoming bill. I have tithed ever since getting saved, and I believe even preachers should tithe and offer. JPH also tithes. I want to be obedient to the Word of God in everything. As I began to make out the check, I heard Satan whisper: Wow, it sure would be nice to be able to keep that, and not be so tight on money. To which I replied: Nope, not doing it! If I keep that, all the rest of my money will be CURSED. No thanks – Not today, Satan! Not today!!     Every season we have to clean out our closets to change the clothes from the previous season to the new season. We also have to change our apparel according to the temperature of the season that we are in. The Holy Spirit is showing me that this is the time for a change of garments as we are coming into a new year and many of you are entering into to a new season spiritually. Some of you have outgrown your old wardrobe and you are being measured to be refitted with new apparel. Others will wear "many hats" as Jesus is trusting you with a greater capacity. Just as Jabez cried out to the Lord to enlarge his territory, the Lord is also going to give you what you requested. The Lord says, adjust your apparel according to the seasons that I bring you into. There is a story in the Old Testament about the prophet Elijah and his successor who became the prophet Elisha. Elisha began his ministry as a servant to Elijah as he was in the field plowing twelve yolk of oxen. Elijah approached Elisha and threw his mantle upon him. This was the first mantle that Elisha received from Elijah. Each day Elisha followed Elijah closely and would not leave him for a moment. After a season in which Elisha had served Elijah, the Lord was coming to take Elijah. He obviously knew this because he asked Elisha; What may I do for you before I am taken away? Elisha responded; I want a double portion of your Spirit (anointing). This word for spirit in the original Hebrew context is ruwach which is breath, wind, spirit. It is referring to the living breath of God, a living mantle . Elijah replied, if you see me when I am taken from you it shall be so. Soon after, a chariot of fire with horses of fire appeared, separated them and
