THE GOD OF WONDERS   As we are winding down the year 2018 and coming into a time of Thanksgiving this week, I want to share something that the Holy Spirit showed me a couple of years ago. This has been a year of many battles but also a year of many victories thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord is raising up believers who have tenacity and perseverance. They are overcomers who have survived through intense warfare. They are those who have experienced challenging trials but are coming back stronger to strengthen and ignite other believers. They are those who have been in the fiery furnace but came out unharmed. They are those who got thrown in the lion’s den but walked out victorious. In the book of Acts the Lord did extraordinary miracles through the hands of Paul. The lame were healed and the dead were raised. In Acts chapter fourteen Paul was stoned and left for dead. When the believers encircled his body, he miraculously stood up. He didn’t retreat in the warfare but he continued on ministering and encouraging other believers. He taught them how to be strong and persevere through difficult trials. The Lord is showing me that satan has desired to sift many of us as wheat but Jesus is restoring us so that we will come back and strengthen our brethren. The battle

There is a caravan with thousands of Central American migrants headed to America. They said that they want to obtain a better life for themselves and be free from poverty and crime. Most Americans are threatened by this mass migration and see it as an invasion. As I watched the news report the Lord showed me something interesting. I heard many people saying that we are living in such dark times and it seems as if legions of demons from hell have been loosed into the earth. I want to share something that the Lord showed me today. There is a story in 2 Kings Chapter 6. As war moves across your land, people will begin to change dramatically, as right before your eyes. Those who walk in darkness will become more evil.
