The Holy Spirit reminded me of a fable which I once heard about an old Cherokee Indian telling his grandson a story about a battle that goes on inside of people. He said, "My son, the battle is between two wolves inside us all. "One is Evil - It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego. July 15, 2014 Revelations 13:11, “And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.” In this verse, God reveals that there is coming a man that will portray himself as a lamb, but he will speak like a dragon. When referring to the Word of God, a lamb represents one of innocence (Jesus Christ); whereas a dragon is usually used as another name for Satan. When looking at these two key points, one will begin to see that this man will try to present himself as being one of innocence; having the spirit of God, but inwardly housing the spirit of Satan. The bible tells us that a house divided cannot stand. A person cannot house the spirit of God and the spirit of Satan. We must be holy because our bodies are the temple of God. Dear Followers of CHRIST:   Today, I want to talk about a difficult subject: Christians dabbling in the occult. A couple years ago, my son came home and told me that the English teacher in his Christian high school was recommending the books Twilight: a popular series of stories about vampires.  There was a family member who is a self-proclaimed Christian who told me that she and her teenage daughters read the Twilight series and liked them.  Other Christians I know have told me, they and their children read both Twilight and Harry Potter books.  A friend told me that she even knew of a Pastor of a church in the area who made it known to his congregation that his children were avid readers of Harry Potter and he supported it. I thought to write on this topic because I rarely now watch TV, but a friend mentioned that they were appalled by all the shows on TV nowadays that are focused on vampire and witchcraft subjects.  That’s what caused me to write on this top

Every disappointment from men is an opportunity to book an appointment with God. We may not understand why this or that happened. We may not understand why "Peter" denied us when we needed him most. We may not understand why the "Judas" in our lives betrayed us. People may dine with you but can betray you at a critical hour. Many do not intend to disappoint us but it just happens. The flesh is weak I guess.  Many have genuine love for us but they withdraw at the critical hour. Peter undoubtably loved Jesus but he gave in to weakness. When we are disappointed it is another way God is speaking to us. God is trying to tell us "Love them but do not raise your expectations. Do not be offended. Look to Me because I can never fail you". God uses disappointments to change our spiritual lens. He uses them to rewrite our priorities. Perhaps you love your wife more than Him but she never stays with you when the need arises. Perhaps

My people are being led astray – off My path for their lives – in subtle ways by the enemy of their souls. He has deceived them into thinking this or that “does not matter” in the overall scheme of things, but did I not say in My Holy Word that it is the little foxes that spoil the vines, My children? Those little things that you allow to eat at you day after day, and the angry thoughts, the unforgiving heart – these make you unfit for Kingdom use! These “little things” are not little in My eyes, they are very big, and I desire you would deal with this uncleanness once and for all. I have given you My love to enjoy and walk in, and I desire you would extend it also to those who do not believe, that they may see more of what I am like, My children. Those who sin willfully are following after the enemy of their souls. There is no time now for playing or veering off the path. The end of all things is upon you. When the end comes, you will have no time to repent
