 There were men and women in the bible who had high callings to be prophets, apostles and some were even used by God to deliver nations. However, some of them had issues of insecurity or fear. Some were running from God and some were hiding from Gods calling. In the New Testament we have been called to usher in the end time harvest. We have been anointed to perform miracles, signs and wonders. We have been called to lay hands on the sick, cast out demons and bring salvation to the lost, but some of us are also hiding from the call of God. In our own strength none of us would be able to walk out Jesus plan for our lives, but when God anoints us we will do things that are impossible to do in the natural. In the book of Exodus chapter 4 when the Lord called Moses he replied;   “O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; but I slow of speech and slow of tongue.” Even though Moses had this insecurity of speaking, the

  As people living on earth we are bound to go through struggles and temptations but we must keep pressing on because the one who has called us is faithful.It does not matter what you are going through now because God your Father is on the throne and will turn everything around only if you keep trusting Him no matter the circumstance.The Bible encourages us not to throw our faith in Christ away because God will bless us. “..Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward” (Hebrews 10:35.)Can you resist to visit the place of idol worship to receive healing? Can you stop consulting the mallam, fetish priest, or charlatan and rather have trust in Jesus Christ by taking him as Your Lord and Personal Saviour? He will give what you want in this life. Can you stop sleeping with that man who has not married you? Can you stop defrauding people on the internet?  Do you know that love of money is the root of all evil? Can you resist masturbation?

  This is a true story of my friend a 10 year old girl called Abla, who used to live in an area with idol worship being one of the major activities practiced by the inhabitants. I remember the day a group of evangelists visited some schools in my area and it happened that my school had been chosen to be the center for Bible studies. So my friend Abla had to visit my school every evening for Bible studies. Our lives begun to totally change when we learnt about the 10 commandments and other Bible scriptures. We learnt so much during this time and were glad to be a part of it. After this wonderful encounter with God our spirits felt troubled anytime we were among idol worshipers. We are living in a time when there is much spiritual activity in the atmosphere. If the Lord opened our eyes in the Spirit realm, we would see angels as well as demons. We would see hosts of heaven and the manifestation of His presence. The bible clearly states that we are to worship Jesus only and not to worship angels but there are instances where the Lord used angels in the bible and He still uses them today. In 1 Kings Ch 19 Elijah ran from Jezebel because she threatened to take his life. Jezebel is also a metaphor of a demonic principality of control, manipulation and murder. Elijah was in so much fear that he asked the Lord to take his life. The spirit of Jezebel is still trying to silence our voices and kill the prophets today but we have authority over it. One day as I was walking into a store I heard a loud truck horn. I thought that a huge semitrailer truck was coming down this small road but when I turned to look, I saw that this blaring sound was coming from a small sports utility vehicle. Apparently this man put an air horn of about 150 decibels into his SUV. As I looked back at this vehicle the Lord said; don’t judge anything or anyone from what you perceive, see or hear in the natural. Jesus is raising up a generation of believers who will raise His voice. He put Abraham into a deep sleep to make a covenant with him, He gave Abimelech a warning dream not to touch Sarah because she was Abraham’s wife.
