  This afternoon I was looking at an old notebook from 1991. I always loved spending hours studying the Word of God and taking notes. Even as a young believer I understood the transforming power of the Word of God. I learned that Jesus was with God in the beginning when He created the world, and He has given us the same creative power in our words, therefore we could speak things into existence. We could speak to mountains to be cast into the sea and it will obey. I understood the covenant that Jesus established with us when He died on the cross, and I knew that healing is always Gods will for us.  Jesus gave us the same authority that He had when He walked the earth. He commissioned us in Matthew chapter 10 to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, and cast out demons. He has already given us all things that pertain to life and godliness.   2020 has been a year that will go down in history. Not one person went unscathed from some type of misfortune. There has been a lot of controversy in politics that affected the government, plagues that shut down the economy as businesses, churches, entertainment, arts, sports events and schools were all closed for a period of time. Airlines, social gatherings and family gatherings were limited to a certain number of people. Face masks were required in public and social distancing was enforced in most states. There were even arrests if people were too close in close proximity at social gatherings. It will also be know as a year of shenanigans and sabotage.   The only thing that wasn’t affected was the media which is communication through radio, television, newspapers and the internet.   I want to share a dream that I had a couple of nights ago. Most of you are familiar with the ministry of the late Kenneth E Hagin. Kenneth received a miracle from the Lord after being paralyzed and bedridden in 1934 at the age of fifteen years old. The Lord raised him up from his deathbed and sent him out into the ministry. He founded the Kenneth E. Hagin Evangelistic Association in 1963 and then the RHEMA bible training college in 1974. He was also known as a “Word of Faith” preacher who believed in the power of our words. His teaching was not just in persuasive words but with demonstration of the Holy Spirit and his power with signs and wonders following. Kenneth had a ministry of miracles, signs and wonders and had a strong gift of discerning of spirits. He was able to see angels as well as demons. He had encounters with Jesus and he even saw heaven and hell. He received several prophetic words for the end times in which some may be relevant for today. When I firs

  Back in the 1990’s into the 2000’s I attended many meetings where believers would “soak” in the presence of God. Some people would lay on the floor, some would remain in their chairs but everyone was there for one reason. We were there for an inevitable, supernatural intervention of God. We were there to pull heaven down into our reality and have encounters with the living God. Ministers would worship on the instruments and the Holy Spirit showed up in a tangible way every time. In these meetings we were never in a hurry and just pressed in until the manifested presence of God filled the sanctuary. Many times it was difficult to even walk out of the building because the presence of God was so palpable. Back in 1978 when I had my first bout with cancer, my friend’s sister told me about a priest named Father Diorio who had a miracle ministry. She invited me to a Catholic Charismatic church where this priest was having a meeting. Being raised Catholic I was never taught about the gifts of the Holy Spirit such as healing and miracles but but I knew that there was a supernatural realm so I was willing to go. The room was packed with people and an unusual presence permeated the atmosphere. I made my way to the front and pressed in as close as I could to the altar. I didn’t know what to expect but I watched him closely as he ministered. God could use anyone who is submitted to Him.   He began speaking about salvation, the love of Jesus, and how Jesus died for our sickness and sin. There was a young paraplegic man in his teens who began screaming from the back of the sanctuary. Father Diorio said “Bring the boy to me”. They laid him down on the altar and he placed his hands o

  It’s amazing how the Lord could speak to us about something that He showed us years ago. This afternoon as I was reading my dream journal from March 2011, a particular dream caught my attention. In this dream I was in a church that was filled with people. Suddenly there was complete silence. As I looked around I noticed that the people were falling asleep one after another all around the room. Then to my amazement I looked up and saw the pastor who was ministering also fell asleep. I was puzzled and didn't know what to make of this. When I woke up I asked the Lord what this dream meant and He gave me this interpretation. The church is falling asleep because the ministers are falling asleep behind the pulpit. They are weary, spiritually drained and lost their zeal for the things of God.    Our nation is in a frenzy right now over the outcome of the elections and many of you are distraught because you think that judgement is about to come upon our nation. I want to encourage you today to rejoice because we are going to have the victory. No matter how things appear in the natural, every promise of God will come to pass. Tonight the Holy Spirit brought me to the book of Isaiah chapter 55. It begins with the Lord sending an invitation for everyone who is thirsty to come to the living waters. He affirms the Covenant of David that He has established with those who will receive it. He asks the wicked to forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. In Isaiah 55 verse 10 He gave a parable.  "For as the rain comes down and the snow from heaven, and do not return there but water the earth, to make it bring forth and bud that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater,  so shall My word that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but i

  Last week there was a winery in Spain that had a massive tank eruption. I watched the actual video of 50,000 liters of red wine gushing out into the streets like a tsunami. This river of wine flowed out around tractors and cars, and into a nearby field. One man who witnessed it said that it was like a breached dam. I could only imagine the aroma of that wine as it filled the air. As I was watching this video the Lord brought this scripture to me that was prophesied in Joel chapter 2 and repeated in Acts chapter 2 which says: “I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh”. In Joel chapter 2 verse 24 the scripture goes on to say: “ The vats shall overflow with new wine and oil”. Throughout the scriptures wine is an allegory of the Holy Spirit.   I want to share this word that I had some time ago. It is apropos for this season and correlative to the word that I shared last week. One morning I was listening to the song “This is how I fight my battles”. I thought about the scripture in Ephesians chapter six concerning the armor of God. The Holy Spirit began showing me how some people are fighting the wrong battles. They are having confrontations with family, friends and neighbors because they don’t recognize who the real enemy is. They are under pressure but they don’t realize that they are retaliating and wrestling in the flesh. We are living in a time where the spirit of fear and hostility is so prevalent. We must be careful that we don’t allow these spirits to attach themselves to us. We are not fighting against flesh and blood but against rulers of darkness and spiritual wickedness. Today I heard an old aphorism “It’s always darkest before the dawn”. I believe that this adage was taken from the scripture in Isaiah 60:2 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you. I was thinking about the challenges that each one of us faced this year but then the Lord brought me back to a prophetic word that I had for this decade in October 2019 titled "THE ROARING 20’s" This is a chapter from that word: The Lord showed me meetings where people were gathered in exuberant praise. They were not drunk as some supposed but were filled with the Holy Ghost. Many worshipers were dancing with flags, banners and streamers. The glory cloud is going to move upon congregations once again. We will see people set free, delivered and transformed in their time of worship as the Holy Spirit descends.
