THE MAMA'S AND THE PAPA'S
The
Lord says, I am raising up the men and women of faith to be mentors to
the next generation of believers. They are those who are grounded in My
word, know how to hear My voice, and are able to discern that which is
spiritual from that which is carnal. They will disciple the younger
one's and help them to discover their purpose for their lives, as they
walk with them through their journey. They will train and equip them for
their assignment ahead. They will mentor in stability through wisdom
and love. These mentors will reach out and rescue those who are in
desperate situations because they know what it is to pay the price as
they have also been through difficult times.
They
will teach them submission and they will show them how to distinguish
between what is good and what is evil. They will teach them how to walk
and train them how to be led. They will teach them when to war, and
teach them when to stand. They will train them how to be overcomers in
every situation. They will not mentor from natural knowledge, but they
will teach what they have learned through divine revelation from My
word. They have studied to show themselves approved to train, encourage
and support those who are still on milk. They will show them things to
come and give them strategies and wisdom for the coming days. They are
those who know My authority and walk in it.
I
am looking for men to train the young men how to be strong and very
courageous. To train them in leadership and to be tenacious in spiritual
warfare. To teach them how to be more than conqueror's in every battle.
To encourage them to pursue the plan and calling on their lives and
never retreat in battle.
I
am calling forth the Naomi's to train up the young Ruth's. The godly
women who will comfort and teach the younger woman how to live a
lifestyle of integrity, sincerity and respect. To teach them how to walk
in humility, wisdom and honor in their relationships.
I
am calling forth the Elijahs to train and raise up Elishas with a
double portion of their Spirit. To train the prophets and teach the
younger ones how to be used in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. To show
them how to follow in their footsteps and be used in miracles, signs and
wonders with respect and reverence of the anointing on their lives.
I
am calling forth the Paul's to train up young Timothys in prayer. To
teach them how to live godly lifestyles and show them how to refrain
from sinful ways, and how to walk in the fear and admonition of the
Lord. To teach them to be strong in what they believe, fan the flames
and stir up the gifts that were given to them. To warn them against
false teachings and false prophets, and to always endure hardness as
good soldiers. Encourage them to never be ashamed of the gospel.
These
men and women of faith shall be the mentors who will prepare the
younger generation for the days ahead. As they lead these young lambs,
they will teach them how to walk in love at all times, and keep a clear
conscience. They will advise them on righteousness and teach them to
have clean hands and a pure heart. They will be an example to do justly,
love mercy and walk humbly with Me. Demons tremble at the sound of
their voice because they know their authority. I will give them the
wisdom and knowledge that is required and I will be their guide as they
lead these younger ones into a life of virtuous living. They will mentor
not just with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of
the Spirit and of power says the Lord.
Titus 2:1-10
But
as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine: that
the older men be sober, reverent, temperate, sound in faith, in love,
in patience; the older women likewise, that they be reverent in
behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good
things- that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to
love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient
to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed.
Likewise, exhort the young men to be sober-minded, in all things showing
yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity,
reverence, incorruptibility, sound speech that cannot be condemned,
that one who is an opponent may be ashamed, having nothing evil to say
of you. Exhort bondservants to be obedient to their own masters, to be
well pleasing in all things, not answering back, not pilfering, but
showing all good fidelity, that they may adorn the doctrine of God our
Savior in all things.
1 Corinthians 2:4 -5
And
my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human
wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your
faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.
Hebrews 5:14
But
solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by
reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
